Intended purpose
Every product sold on this website is designated Research Use Only (RUO). Materials are intended solely for in vitro study, pre-clinical laboratory research, analytical reference, and related scientific purposes.
They are not intended for human or animal consumption, ingestion, injection, topical application, diagnostic use, or therapeutic use of any kind. They are not drugs, not dietary supplements, not cosmetics, and not medical devices.
What HMD Scientific is, and is not
HMD Scientific LLC is a chemical supplier. It is not a compounding pharmacy or chemical compounding facility as defined under section 503A of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, and it is not an outsourcing facility as defined under section 503B of that Act. It does not hold a pharmacy licence, does not dispense prescription medicines, and does not fill prescriptions.
The statements on this website have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Buyer eligibility and attestation
Access to specifications, pricing, and ordering on this website requires a registered account. By registering an account and by placing an order, you represent and warrant that:

Prohibited uses
You may not purchase, use, resell, distribute, repackage, or otherwise transfer materials obtained from this website for:
- Human or animal consumption, ingestion, injection, inhalation, or topical application
- Diagnostic, clinical, or therapeutic application in any patient or subject
- Compounding, formulation, or preparation of any product intended for human or animal use
- Resale or distribution to any party for any of the above purposes
- Any purpose prohibited by federal, state, or local law
Improper use of Research Use Only materials may constitute a violation of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and other applicable regulations. Confirmed misuse will result in immediate termination of your account, forfeiture of any pending orders, and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

HMD Scientific does not provide medical advice, dosing instructions, administration guidance, reconstitution protocols for human use, or treatment protocols of any kind. Nothing on this website — including product descriptions, specifications, and any scientific literature referenced — constitutes a medical claim, a recommendation, or a representation that any material is safe or effective for any use.

Shipping
Materials are supplied to approved account holders in the United States only. HMD Scientific does not export, and does not ship to addresses outside the United States.
